Instagram stories are probably as much a part of our daily routine as brushing teeth in the morning and at night or even saying “Hi!” to people when you arrive at work. With the multitude of opportunities they offer, here are a few tips you can use to attract more followers via IG stories.
Be consistent in your style and posting time.
This is a part of your brand identity. People learn to associate certain colors, tones, themes with your brand, so make sure to have your unique voice. Also, stay in tune with your audience: track when they are active the most during the day and schedule your posts beforehand. This will ensure more engagement.
Create a network.
Remember takeovers? They are still a fun way to bring diversity to your page content, as well as engage with a different audience. It’s a two-way street: the influencer or fellow entrepreneur takes over the stories of your page for a day, you gain more visibility among their followers, and vice versa. Also, don’t be too shy to give a shoutout to the businesses/influencers you admire. This will not only establish you as a positive person, but also build a stronger network for the future.

This means that the authenticity you strive to create and maintain through your regular posts should be reflected in your stories, too. People love seeing authentic stories, as such stories inspire and make them go and take a look at where this original story came from!
